Still Flyin' - Good Thing it's a Ghost Town Around Here (2008)
One might make two observations of this entry into the Smash Hits: A) Our Spooktober was nearly a full month ago.
B) This song doesn't actually have anything to do with comics.
Alright, so maybe it's a tenuous connection, but I see a vampire and a werewolf and a skeleton and lots of other things I've seen in comics before!
The song, from the San Francisco indie supergroup, was on a frightening loop in my head by the end of last month. It seems only fitting that I pass it on like some sort of spooky, haunted Japanese chain letter horror film.
If you've been looking for updates throughout November, it's also an appropriately self-conscious inclusion. Bravo to Moshi Moshi Records for having fans actively promote their artist through embedded videos. Happy Holidays!
